About

Vision & Mission

At Invictus Global Response, our goal is to protect the lives and livelihoods of people in communities affected by conflict and insecurity, through the support of cost-effective and sustainable mine action and humanitarian assistance projects.

Our mission is to bring hope, safety, security, and aid to communities in conflict areas that are either overlooked or unreachable. We strive to be a beacon of compassion, working tirelessly to provide support, resources, and a pathway to peace. We aim to empower these vulnerable populations through strategic partnerships, innovative approaches, and unwavering commitment. Our goal is to support victims of conflict in overcoming adversity and take an active role in the rebuilding of their communities.

About IGR

A 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, Invictus Global Response was first conceptualized in 2022 during the early days of the full-scale Russian Invasion of Ukraine, and officially formalized in 2023, Invictus Global Response is an international Non-Governmental Organization that exists to provide humanitarian assistance in conflict areas and other fragile states. Our mission is focused on the clearance of landmines and explosives, teaching civilians to identify explosive risks, and providing capacity-building support in the areas of mine action, stockpile reduction, and humanitarian assistance. Our vision is to empower local organizations, partner forces, and affected communities through impactful, cost-effective, and sustainable support.

Founded by US and British military veterans with decades of experience in conflict and post-conflict zones, Invictus draws on decades of its streamlined and adaptable organizational structure, and extensive local networks to deploy people and resources to the very center of humanitarian crises. We also focus on the support of sustainable local grass-roots NGOs by enabling scalability of operations and continued capacity development. Invictus is currently liaising with groups working in conflict zones in Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Invictus Global Response's operational model is based around three core capabilities.

Mine Action

Invictus Global Response has teams comprised of experienced international and local-national Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Demining experts. Invictus is capable and experienced in conducting non-technical surveys, technical surveys, battle area clearance, manual clearance, EOD Operations, and Armored Fighting Vehicle (AFV Clearance) activities in complex environments. Field teams are equipped with the latest detection and drone survey tools, international mine action standards (IMAS 10.30), and relevant National Mine Action Authority (NMAA) compliant protective equipment.

Additionally, Invictus Global Responses EOD Staff are prepared to deploy globally in response to explosive incidents, and to proactively support stockpile reduction by facilitating physical security and stockpile management (PSSM) activities for small arms and light weapons (SALW) destruction.

Capacity Building

Capacity-building activities lie at the heart of Invictus’s foundation. Our experienced training staff draws on years of institutional design and development of mine action, EOD, tactical training, Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE), and peacekeeping operations (PKO) training programs. Invictus team members have facilitated program implementation in support of the US Department of Defense, US Department of State, United Nations, and UK Department for International Development (DFID) and other donor-funded Initiatives.

Our primary focus is to build and enhance partner nation/force capabilities through foundational learning opportunities, embedded mentorship, train-the-trainer initiatives, and strategic advising.

Humanitarian Assistance

At IGR, our commitment to humanitarian assistance extends beyond immediate relief efforts to encompass the comprehensive rehabilitation of communities suffering from conflict and other disasters. We understand that the aftermath of a crisis often leaves lasting scars on communities, requiring sustained support for rebuilding and recovery. Leveraging our extensive networks and relationships with both international and local non-governmental organizations (NGOs), we excel in facilitating the distribution of critical resources and ensuring the safe evacuation of vulnerable populations during times of urgent need. Our dedication to seamless collaboration allows us to pool resources and expertise, creating a powerful force for positive change in the wake of adversity.

As a full-service organization, Invictus goes beyond traditional aid provision. We engage in thorough consulting processes that assess the unique challenges faced by communities in the aftermath of disasters, tailoring our interventions to address specific needs and foster sustainable development. Our commitment to relief and stabilization efforts extends to challenging locations, where we actively seek opportunities to make a lasting impact. By combining our strategic partnerships with a hands-on approach, Invictus stands ready to not only respond to crises but also play a pivotal role in the long-term revitalization of communities, ensuring they emerge stronger, more resilient, and better equipped to face future challenges.
